Legendary Hall of Famer Gary Carter is dead at the age of 57. According to his family, Carter died after a battle with brain cancer.
Carter was inducked into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003, an 11 time All-Star and was a part of the superstar world champion '86 Mets team
The New York Mets catcher was diagnosed with an aggrssive form of brain cancer in 2011, this lind of cancer is said to be a more fast moving for of the cancer.
According to reports Doctors discovered four small tumors in his brain, after Carter started forgetting things and began to repeat questions.
Carter is survived by his wife, 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
